Imec is dedicated to render a prompt, precise and reliable solution and service to satify our customers in the market area we represent. This market area is the Nordic countries, Germany (except medical physics), Poland and the Baltic states.

Imec supplies and services measurement equipment and systems for detecting and measuring all kinds of radiation.

Imec supplies 2 ranges of high quality analytical instruments on the Danish market only. Handheld instruments based on XRF technology and stationary instruments based on OES technology.

Imec ApS is located app. 40 km from Copenhagen and holds a complete technical center with a hot source for calibration purposes. 

Imec GmbH is located in Hamburg.

Imec was founded in 1997 and appointed representative for Ludlum Measurements Inc., Sweetwater, TX, USA in 1998. In 2009 Imec was acquired by MV Invest who also holds a number of companies within the international ground services equipment industry (for Airports).

In 2010 Imec and Bruker signed a representative agreement for Bruker's range of hand held XRF instruments. In 2012 this agreement was expanded to contain Bruker OES systems, too.

In 2015 Imec and TSI ChemLogix, USA signed a representative agreement forTSI´s range of LIBS and Raman based equipment.
