Imec has definitely undertaken the important task to contribute making the world a safer and healthier place to live.

Focus is on ensuring radiation detected environments; anywhere radiation occurs or can occur it must be found and eliminated/limited.

In metal recycling which helps reducing CO2 emission the possible radiation must be found, so it does neither hurt anybody nor contaminates the final products.

In the medical physics community it is important to use the best equipment to monitor radiation and shield so that empolyees and patientes recieve the possible lowest doses. Again assuring the best images at the lowest radiation will give the best result and environment.

Area monitoring of boarders, ports and airports also detects unwanted nuclides and so radiation.

Our range of analytical instruments helps determing only the specified substrates (e.g. RoHS). Again the concern for the environment is a priority.

Understanding the need

Imec will always follow our customers' need closely. The analysis of the need shall ensure that the chosen product satisfies the need as it is today and also in the future. We often consult our supplier in this process. The product training is just as important and so is the after sale service. These are important means to satisfy the customers.

Scope

In our capacity as representative for three of the worlds probably best measuring equipment manufacturers, Imec has an important task in communicating the advantages of this equipment in making our environment a safer and healthier place to live. The training of the customers as well as the service of the equipment being equally important.
